NimbleTools™ has two types of masking tools. The Answer Masking Tool starts each question by hiding everything but the question. The Custom Masking Tools lets you pick and choose what you want to cover.
Answer Masking Tool
Answer Masking Features:
- This tool hides all portions of the screen except the test question.
- Students use the Show buttons to display answer choices. The Hide button covers up the answer choice.
- To see all answer choices, the student clicks on the Show All Answers button.
- Mouse over to the right panel, and your test navigation tools appear (see below).
Custom Masking Tool
Custom Masking Features:
- Students can create custom masking sheets to cover any part of the test item.
- Students create a sheet by clicking on a sheet button to the left of the item.
- Students can resize a sheet by clicking and dragging the bottom right corner.
- Clicking and dragging any part of the sheet allows students to move the sheet anywhere on the screen.
- For students who prefer to focus on small blocks of text, the Cover All button places a masking frame on the screen and covers all parts of the test question except what is under the magnifier box. The masking frame can be adjusted to the most comfortable size for the student. In addition to displaying the portion of the item under it, the masking frame also allows students to adjust the level of magnification. Students can adjust the amount of magnification by clicking and dragging the small circle on the bottom edge of the magnifying box.
